2) What we Make

A key component of the Camera Kids experience is the children receiving proper glossy high quality prints of their work. The tactility and immediacy of a photographic print really can’t be beaten and we have found that the children absolutely love them! We then go on to use the prints to make a wide variety of “creations” for the children to bring home. This might be as simple as mounting the print in a thoughtful way and creating a collaged border, making a greetings card using photographic prints, making a hanging mobile or perhaps a fridge magnet or keyring.

These “creations” give purpose to the children’s work and allow them to bring home their photography and use it and display it in a meaningful and valuable way. Invariably we have seen the children take great pride and pleasure in this which is why we see it as such an integral part of the whole Camera Kids experience. The children bring home FOUR “creations” per ten week session offering great value and a high quality experience.
